We call on you to arrest Mohamed Ismail Safi following his dirty talk on Watan channel about the death of Israa Gharib.
I wish I could congratulate the State of Palestine for signing 55 international treaties.
I hope that the Palestinian Authority would demonstrate its commitment to implement the provisions of the conventions and treaties like other signatories to the same international conventions and treaties.
The agreements signed by your state oblige your government to change laws and enact legislation based on equality in society and meet the demands of respect for human rights.
By allowing the murder of women by their relatives, the PA not only shows it is not mature to join the international community, but shames the Palestinian People as a whole.
But by allowing the murder of 24 Palestinian women until August 2018, and then the recent murder of young Israa Gharib by her family, and the blame for the murder of Isra on the jinn brings your state back to the time of myths and legends in the pre-Islamic era, and forces us as Palestinian women residing in countries that are signatories to the same international treaties signed by you, To file a complaint of damage to the International Tribunal and accuse the State of Palestine of direct failure to abide by the agreements signed, and this would expose the reputation of this Palestinian newborn to distortion.
We hope that the head of your country, the Prime Minister, will work to raise the status of Palestine to the level of what it has signed before the world.
The statements made by Mr. Ismail Ismail Safi in Al-Watan TV yesterday imposes the responsibility for his arrest and confirms that the suspicions revolving around him. Criminals always try to hide the features of the crime they committed.
Dear Prime Minster,
Palestine has signed fifty-five multilateral treaties covering a wide range of areas. All treaties have been signed without any reservations, which is claimed to be a deliberate expression of Palestine’s commitment to becoming a respected member of the international community, adhering to international law, and setting an example as a progressive state promoting human rights and equality in the Middle East.
According to what your state signed,
The State of Palestine is-drafting a new national constitution to replace a patchwork of foreign and outdated legislation, while harmonizing national law with dozens of ratified international treaties. Since its 2012 ascension from non-member observer ‘entity’ to non-member observer ‘state’ in the UN1, Palestine has signed fifty-five multilateral treaties covering a wide range of areas, including diplomatic relations, human rights, international humanitarian law, international criminal law, crime and corruption, disarmament, laws of the sea and the environment. 2All treaties have been signed without any reservations, which is claimed to be a deliberate expression of Palestine’s commitment to becoming a respected member of the international community, adhering to international law, and setting an example as a progressive state promoting human rights and equality in the Middle East.
That in view of these treaties recently signed by Palestine you continue allowing the impune murder of women for reasons of superstition, shows Palestine as a retrograde State which is less than mature to join the international community. It would be better that you formally renounced these treaties rather than shaming us in front of the world.
