Global March to Jerusalem Concerning Israeli Massacres

Global March to Jerusalem Concerning Criminal Israeli Assassinations of Gaza Civilians

Just as defending and liberating Jerusalem are the duties of free people around the world, so is defending the safety and livelihoods of Palestinians throughout occupied Palestine. On March 9, the Israeli occupation army began their latest series of illegal assassinations of Palestinian civilians in the Gaza Strip.  We, the Global March to Jerusalem, condemn the Zionist campaign of killing Palestinian citizens and imprisoning the Palestinians of Gaza in an open-air prison, just as we condemn the continued occupation of Palestinian land and the intentional destruction and Judaisation of Jerusalem, as well as all of historic Palestine.

In less than three weeks, history will be made when thousands of Palestinians and supporters from around the world march together. In light of the continued ethnic cleansing of Muslims and Christians in Jerusalem and the latest bloody attacks on the Palestinians of Gaza, now more than ever, in solidarity with Palestinians, we call on all people to join Palestinians and supporters: on March 30, 2012, we will march to Jerusalem or to the nearest possible points in neighboring countries to protest Israeli apartheid and ethnic cleansing. We demand access to Jerusalem for all peoples; to uphold Palestinian rights under international law, including all refugees’ right of return; and the end to Israeli attacks on the Palestinians of Gaza.

I wonder how you see the deteriorating situation of women in Gaza under Hamas? It’s ironic that Gazan women were better off under direct Israeli rule. Claire Short, a very pro-Palestinian ex MP (here in UK) and a regular visitor to Gaza to monitor the situation of the people there has also expressed such concerns, though to suit her agenda she doesn’t go into details as that would embarrass pro-Palestinian women around the world. And as a gay man, I suspect I’d be free to be myself in Tel Aviv, and not so much in Gaza, this concerns me too. And I also now of many gay Palestinians in Jerusalem and the area who ‘escape’ to the Jewish part of town (West Jerusalem) to attend gay events, and for a little while be who they really are, not living in fear and repression.

Since “Apartheid” features heavily on your site – After the end of Apartheid in South Africa, it was one of the first countries to legalise gay marriage. Will the Palestinians also be forward thinking and liberal when they are free? Or will it be another oppressive state?

If you care about human rights, them women’s rights and gay rights should be on your list too and of the people fighting for Palestinian freedom (like the Hammas) but are they?

    Just wondering…

Why don’t you march to Syria instead? Why is everyone overthere ignoring the slaughter thats really going on?

  • Assalam alaikum brothers.

Israel is a Jewish theocracy like Syria, an Alawi theocracy. Israeli government is fulfiling human rights laws found in the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights by commiting a ‘massacre’ of Sunni Palestinians, which is what we do to armed terrorists. This is similar to what the Alawi Muslim religious regime in Syria is doing to the Sunni Arab majority.

I am a Muslim and I adhere by Alawi Islam and we regard the first three Sunni Caliphs namely ABU BAKAR, UMAR and USMAN as kaafir. We also regard the wife of Mohamed s.a.w. Aisha as a kaafir as she betrayed Mohamed s.a.w. Aisha murdered the prophet s.a.w. by poisoning him then plotting against Imam Ali a.s. by installing her father Abu Bakar as dictator of the Arabs.

Sunnis are the last persons to speak of human rights as their leaders, ABU BAKAR, UMAR and USMAN committed genocide against the Shias, particularly the ALAWI MUSLIMS OF SYRIA.

Syria is an Alawi State and President Bashar al Assad has the backing of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Holy, Orthodox Christian Russia. Vladimir Putin is a devout Orthodox Christian and he realises Syria’s so-called “Arab Spring” isn’t Arab at all but a Sunni uprising planned by the Wahabis in Saudi Arabia to wipe out both ALAWI MUSLIMS and Assyrian Christians.
