Military and Intelligence Demo in Support of Abbas

Have you ever heard in the past, present, or from the old ages, that the military, security, police, intelligence systems, ministers and government employees in a country anywhere, USA, United Kingdom, Europe, China, Japan or even in the Hololo Islands,  had gone to the streets to demonstrate in support of their President so that the crimes of their so-called President could be covered up better?

This happened yesterday Oct. 8 2009, in a small ghetto in the occupied Palestinian territories in a city called Ramallah.

Hundreds of Palestinian military, security thugs trained by the American general Keith Dayton, police, ministers, intelligence agents, employees of the government, employees of the so-called the Palestinian presidential head-quarter, and some members of Fatah from the Dahlan wing, demonstrated in the center of Ramallah in support to their so-called “President” Mahmoud Abbas, who intervened with the UN to delay the vote on the Goldstone report, that highlights war crimes by Israel against the Palestinians during the 22-day Israeli offensive on the Gaza strip that began on Dec. 27, 2008.

The demonstrations were headed by the former intelligence chief Tawfiq Al-Tirawi, one of the fugitives from the Gaza Strip. Al-Tirawi stated that the Fatah movement “had taught others the struggle, and created the Palestinian dream”, and that Fatah would not allow anyone to criticize the Palestinian leadership and the president.

The military security, intelligence and police demonstrators expressed their support for “president” Mahmoud Abbas, and the PLO, as a legitimate representative of Palestinians in the Palestine and the Diaspora. So this hireling and traitor is now”legitimate” because his buddies say so?
