Stop the Embargo, Gaza Must Live !

On 17. May 2008, the efforts of all the trouble makers who tried to hinder the activity to Stop the Embargo and “Gaza must Live” failed. A discussion was held at Regina Hotel in the 9^th district. Many Austrian supporters decided to challenge the blockage of the Israeli Occupation against one and a half million Palestinians who live in Gaza. The attendance was unusually high when compared with previous activities.

Perhaps the troubles faced by the organizers of this activity, which was caused by the supporters of the Israeli genocide, in the end helped to increase the attendance of this event, by people who came to express their sympathy with the Palestinians in Gaza, people who would not have attended this activity otherwise.

The participation in this activity, “Gaza must Live”, was strong and it helped to expose the daily crimes of Israeli daily against the inhabitants of Gaza, and also against the inhabitants of the West Bank. The Israeli closure of Gaza must Stop. The Israeli occupation must be ended. The Palestinians must build their own State, the participants stated.
