The Editor in Chief of Al-Itithad newspaper in Haifa, Nazir Mejalle, writes to the Israeli government complaining about Colonel Baruch Naggar, DCL officer, who had insulted Kawther during an interview she made with him for Al-Ittihad.
Peter Lerner, spokesperson for Colonel Naggar, writes back claiming that Kawther uses her reporting to incite violence against the occupation and calls her impudent because of her reporting about the death of Shlomo Ra'anan, a settler from Tal Romeida.
