Son of terrorist Moshe Zar.

Served in the IDF as an occupation officer.
Was the main financier of the terrorist organization Gush Emunim.

Lived with his wife Hagar and 8 children in the illegal jewish settlement Itamar.

Gilad Zar was killed on May 29, 2001 on the road near Qedumim.
