Former military commander in Hebron.
Responsible for many murders of Palestinians and destruction of Palestinian property.
Brigadier General Noam Tibon has a Bachelors degree with distinction in history from Haifa University. He also has a Masters degree in public administration from Harvard University through the Waxner Foundation.
he studied at the IDF Staff and Command College, and he finished military studies with distinction from the United States Marine Corps Officer Candidates School in Quantico, Virginia.

A Short History - Brigadier General Noam Tibon

Brigadier General Noam Tibon was born in 1963 in the kibbutz Tzora.
Tibon was a military commander in the south of Lebanon since 1981, he joined the General Staff Elite unit, and served there as a basic combat soldier and continued there until he reached the position of a company commander.
He is married with Galiy, a woman from kibbutz "Shiller" in Rehovot north of Tel Aviv. After marriage they moved from the kibbutz to the north of Lebanon, because the kibbutz was "too leftist" for the crimes against humanity of commander Noam Tibon.

Tibon loved his work with the military, he loved the gun, the war and the military life, and after he finished the military service he found himself again working with the military.

1982: Tibon joined the war against Lebanon.
1986: IAF pilot Ron Arad disappeared, and on 28 July 1989, Tibon joined the Israeli commandos who kidnapped Al-Sheikh Abed-Al-Karem Ibead from his house in Jibsheit, in the south of Lebanon.

He studied Marin at the Quantico Corps Marine base in USA. After his marriage he went again with his wife Gali to continue his military training at Quantico.

Tibon served as a commander in southern Lebanon after he finished his training at Quantico. Under his authority two Israeli soldiers were killed by Hizb Allah.
Between the years 1989 and 1991, Tibon served as deputy commander of the 890th brigade of the Paratroopers.

From 1993 until 1995, Noam Tibon served as the commander of the 202nd battalion of the Paratroopers, and in 1995 he was appointed the deputy commander of the Paratrooper brigade.

Colonel Noam Tibon was transferred to Bethlehem for incompetence due to the loss of two soldiers in Lebanon. He served as a military commander of the Holy city Bethlehem and between 1997 and 1998 he was the commander of Bethlehem Brigade.
He confiscated thousands of dunums of Palestinian agricultural lands, from the towns of Wadi Rahhal, Artass, and Al-Khader in order to open a new road for the illegal Efrat settlement.
He expanded the Jewish settlement near Al Daived after he confiscated thousands of dunums of land from the Palestinian towns of Um-al-Sisan, Fadel, and Wadi Al-Fraides.

Tibon expanded the Tako'a settlement.
He confisicated thousands of dunums of land from Al-Tamreh and thousands of dunums of land from Wadi Al-Masy, until the road 60.
Tibon confiscated thousands of agriculture land from the Hosan village in order to build a water infrastructure project for the illegal settglement at Betar Elit.

From 1999 until June 2001, Col. Noam Tibon was commander of Israeli forces in the West Bank city of Hebron. Tibon served as the chief local enforcer of a discriminatory regime that favored Israelis, and especially Jewish colonists, over Palestinian civilians. His forces fatally shot stone-throwing protesters, carried out punitive house demolitions, and imposed prolonged mass house arrests, while allowing Jewish colonists to rampage through the city, attacking Palestinians and internationals with impunity.
Under Tibon's authority, Hebron was the only major Palestinian city in the West Bank that remains in substantial measure under the direct control of the Israeli Defense Force (IDF). The city is home to about 150,000 Palestinians.

In the first week of March, 2001, soldiers under the command of Noam Tivon shot Jadalla Al-Jaabari in a leg in the vegetable market, without provocation and "just for fun". Al-Jaabari was an inoffensive mentally retarded man who was known to the soldiers who shot him. I documented the incident on video, it is posted elsewhere on my website.

On January 12 2001 Faisal Shaker Al-Hassouna, an Israeli citizen, was passing through Al-Shalalah street. Soldiers under Tivon's command shot him without reason. Two soldiers, one an officer of the Border Police under the officer Jihad Kabalan (a Druze from Beit Jan), dragged him through the streets while the other soldiers celebrated. According to a witness, the IDF soldiers stood on Al-Hassouna until he died of suffocation. This incident is also documented in a video elsewhere on my site.

Tibon studied at Harvard Universit, after he finished his work as a military commander of Hebron.

He held various positions in the Israeli military, including head of the Nahal infantry brigade, head of personnel for the land forces command, and since 2006, commander of the West Bank division.

Between 2004 and 2006 Brigadier General Noam Tibon served as the head of the manpower brigade of the IDF Ground Forces.
In 2007 he served as the Chief Infantry and Paratroops Officer.
After a year-long leave at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard Tibon took control in Nablus, and he killed some Palestinians there during a patrol in the old city.

Aliza Tibon, mother of Colonel Noam Tibon and whose soldiers are engaged in genocidal missions in the Palestinian territories, has protested outside the Defence Minstry in Tel-Aviv and other locations calling for evacuation of the army from Rafah, together with other women active in the left-wing movement "The Fifth Mother".

Noam Tibon lives in Tel Aviv.
