Colonel Yehuda Fuchs issued a military order and blocked all the entrances to the old city. He denied 35000 Palestinian inhabitants to reach their homes and their shops, he kept the keys of of the locked entrances with his soldiers. This is a clear genocide and ethnical cleansing, and a clear violation of the Geneva convention.
