He is married with Elisheva Federman, the daughter of American settler David Ramati who lives in Kiryat Arba.
Federman has eight children.
Federman was jailed, and placed under house arrest several times. He accused of masterminding the infamous “Bat-Ayin” Jewish terrorist ring.
On 23 May 1994 Noam Federman was placed under administrative detention.
In 2001 his car exploded in Kiryat Arab’a. The explosive material which exploded in his car belonged to him and was being prepared for attacking Palestinians.
In 2004 Federman was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a plot to detonate a powerful bomb in the courtyard of a school for Arab girls in the A-Tur neighborhood of East Jerusalem.
